We didn't lose the game; we just ran out of time. ~ Vince Lombardi
Seahawks 26 - Broncos 20
It was the kind of game we expected in the Superbowl. Instead, the Superbowl was a blowout. The Seahawks were even more impressive in this game than they were in the Superbowl. Needless to say, the Broncos were much improved too. Would it be too much to ask for a rematch in February 2015?

In last week's blog, we said write short, easy to read sentences. Use explosive words to create a feeling of excitement. Words like ram or drive instead of push. Or try explode and shatter instead of blowup.
Now, let's look at an excerpt from the forthcoming Two Miles High and Six Feet Under to see how I did at following my own instructions, This excerpt describes a man caught in an avalanche.
"The rumble became louder. The roar came not from thunder. It came from tons of snow crashing down the mountainside. Coyle looked at the slope above, He saw a wall of snow coming at him. Even if Coyle had thought to kick and glide, he couldn’t have moved fast enough to escape from the avalanche.
At first he was thrust from the back. He was not able to stay ahead of the flow. Crashing snow picked him up. Torrents of snow rolled him ahead of the wave. Amid the confusion, he distinctly saw an uprooted spruce tree about twice his size being pushed along. Everything else was out of focus. Reality was lost in the chaos. Coyle thought he remembered one complete somersault. A rock about the size of a melon hit him in the hip. Luckily it didn’t hit his head."
