Thoughts for the new year
My people skills are just fine. My ability to deal with idiots needs some work.
"Highway to Hell" and "Stairway to Heaven" says something about anticipated traffic numbers.
I'm only responsible for what I say, not for what you understand.
Updated Sports News
Denver Broncos Head Coach announced today that Payton Manning will be the starting Quarterback for the NFL playoffs. The Broncos have earned a bye in the first round and will learn their opponent based on the results of the first round. First Round Bye gives Manning an extra week to heal, and for the skill position players it gives them a chance to learn how to hang on to the ball. (5 turnovers in 9 possessions.) If the second round opponent is Kansas City, the Chiefs will find they are not facing the same team they tromped November 15 in the regular season. It is Manning for as far as he can carry the team.. Go Broncos.
Avalanche wins 4-3 OT over the St. Louis Blues. MacKinnon scores late goal to tie the game. Landeskog scored with 16 second left in overtime. Duchene scored the first goal and has been picked for the All-star game. Those number 1 draft choices are finally paying off.
The National Western Stock Show and Rodeo will open today, January 7, for the 110th edition of the stock show and rodeo. In what Denver residents have come to call Stock Show weather, it is snowing today and colder temperatures are predicted.
