Happy Thanksgiving Day to all our Canadian friends!
The Broncos won, but it was closer than the final score indicated. The Jaguars made the Broncos sweat well into the fourth quarter. Even the Denver fans at the game booed at half-time and some players said they felt like booing themselves. The Avalanche on the other hand had no trouble winning against the Washington Capitols hockey team. It was a good weekend for professional sports.
I don't want to talk about CU and CSU. There is a rumor that Taco Bell will sell four Tacos for $1.00 every time CU holds a Pac12 opponent under 50 points. I"m just saying that CU is in way over it's team's head, but they are making big bucks from big gates. CSU is coming up to its usual standards. Nuf said.
Murder in the Rockies entered the Colorado Book Award for Mysteries. The book had to be published in 2013 by a Colorado based author or publisher. We won't know who won until April 2014. The awards will be presented in Aspen. We are optimistically looking forward to a trip to Aspen.
Electronically, Murder in the Rockies will be available November 1, and the printed release date is December 1, 2013. Buy it if you can.
