“A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read".
Mark Twain
Congratulations to the ten winners of the Murder in the Rockies giveaway conducted by goodreads. Each winner should be receiving a free copy of Murder in the Rockies any day now. All ten were mailed late last week. The winners were equally divided between male and female, and they lived in all parts of the country.
Bet you didn't know
There are fifty-eight mountains in Colorado whose summits are over 14,000 feet in elevation. The most famous are Pike's Peak (Pike's Peak or Bust) near Colorado Springs and Long's Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park. The tallest is little known Mount Elbert, elevation 14,400 feet, near Leadville the Two Mile High City. Leadville is the setting of the next Andrew Coyle mystery which is currently a work in progress, Two Miles and Six Feet Under.
.
Slight Delay
The electronic version of Murder in the Rockies will be released on or about November 1, and the printed version should be in bookstores around December 1. The launch of both versions was pushed back one month. Be patient, it is a good read (for those who will read, and those who won't read have no advantage over those who can't read.).
